A & D Penicuik House Edinburgh
Avery and Donald's wedding was, without question, our most favourite brief to date. Avery came to us with a vision rooted in the world of Jane Austen's 2005 Pride & Prejudice film adaptation, and from the very first conversation, we knew this was going to be truly extraordinary.
We worked with Avery and Donald from the very beginning of their planning journey, sourcing Penicuik House as their venue and curating every their dream supplier team. The result was a day that felt as though it had stepped straight from the pages of a Regency novel: all soft light, flowers in abundance, and quiet romance.
And yes, it rained. It hailed. Scotland’s weather always brings the drama. But there is something rather fitting about that, is there not? Because just like Elizabeth Bennet herself, this wedding was at its most beautiful when it stopped trying to be perfect and simply was. The couple were utterly unfazed, and the images tell a story that is all the richer for it.
It was the greatest honour to walk alongside Avery and Donald from the very first venue search to the last dance of the evening.
